We'd like to be in your corner

Everyone needs help and support sometimes. We work specifically with folks who are struggling with ADHD challenges, caregiving responsibilities, intimacy in sex or relationships.

We work with all kinds of folks. It may be relevant to some that we can and do bring queer and disability lenses to our work that come from personal experience and identity.

About Maayan
I recently completed the ADHD coach training program at ADDCA (the ADD Coah Academy), and am currently working towards PAAC and ICF certification. As a coach, I will work with you on immediate day to day problem solving, and on getting to know your specific brain and strengths. That way, you'll be able to work with them, not against them, in order to better be able to do that problem solving yourself.

Ellie
Ellie is not a coach, but she is a cat. She's unapologetically her goofball self, she communicates her needs, wants, and boundaries clearly, expresses her love freely, and takes naps when she needs to. We could all learn a lot from Ellie.

Do your clients work with both of you?

You can, but you don't have to. We do sessions separately unless everyone involved feels like a joint session or sessions would be helpful.

How much do you charge?

We have a sliding scale between 30 and 70 USD per session. Sessions are 1 hour.

We don't do buy-more-sessions-pay-less-per-session packages, because we don't think life should be more expensive for people who have less money to spend up front.

If you can't afford $30/session, let us know and we'll see if we can figure something out.

Before we start any coaching, we do a no-charge 30 minute consultation call, just to get a feel for each other and to answer any questions you might have.

For how long do I do coaching?

We don't require it, but we strongly recommend doing at least a month (four sessions) of coaching to get a feel for what it's like, and whether it's what you are wanting and needing right now.

Typically, coaching journeys are measures in months. In some cases, this might be longer or shorter.

How is ADHD coaching different from therapy?

In short, the aim of ADHD coaching is to understand how ADHD manifests for you, and how to manage and overcome the hurdles you face because of it. ADHD coaching does not address your mental or emotional health and wellbeing, or diagnose or treat any mental health diagnoses.

It is also worth noting that becoming a licensed therapist takes many years and a lot of training. We both have coach training, but not nearly as much as any licensed therapist does. That said, many therapists are not very well equipped to address most ADHD symptoms - it really is a different thing.
